Louis founded Loanpad in 2015, shaping the company and steering it through the stringent FCA authorisation process. He’s a qualified and highly experienced lawyer specialising in real estate finance.

Louis founded HCLS (law firm) in 2009 and iBridge (lending business) in 2013.

Louis decided to create Loanpad as a new model of peer-to-peer lending that’s safer, simpler and more flexible for investors.

Neil joined Loanpad in early 2018, shortly prior to FCA authorisation being granted.

As a Chartered Accountant (FCA), he was a Director at both BDO and Duff & Phelps specialising in Financial Services and worked with a range of firms from startups to multinationals on operations, strategy, finance and compliance.

At Loanpad, he is responsible for designing and leading the firm’s end-to-end operations including credit underwriting, lending partner relationships, strategy, finance, software development and regulatory compliance.

Marc joined Loanpad in January 2018 having followed its progress during its FCA authorisation process.

He began his career in 1999 at Paine Webber International (UK) Ltd and then as an equities trader for Goldenberg Hehmeyer & Co. In 2004, Marc decided to become a private investment manager on behalf of high net worth individuals. Marc has a passion for internet startups and over the last fifteen years has split his time between investment management and helping to develop various companies including directing strategy, marketing, sales and customer experience management. Marc holds an LLB in Law and is Eurex qualified.

At Loanpad, Marc acts as a senior loan underwriter in addition to developing commercial strategy including marketing, customer service and software development.

Jacob joined Loanpad in 2016 and has assisted the company since its inception.

Jacob started in the property sector in 2001 and subsequently moved into the creative sector for over 15 years running a digital agency in the centre of London. This has given Jacob a unique set of knowledge and skills spanning real estate, marketing, design and corporate communications.

At Loanpad, he acts as a Loan Manager responsible for assessing loans both at the due diligence phase and on an ongoing basis. In addition, he directs and manages the creative design for the website and any communications with our investors.

Jamie graduated from UCL with a mechanical engineering degree and during his studies built an information-sharing and organisation platform called Mashoom. Now being used in many large organisations, it is relied upon to securely and easily manage many different forms of data.

Mashoom’s success is based on Jamie’s belief that software can and should be simple, secure, powerful and available to all. Now CTO at Loanpad, Jamie is applying these principles to the financial technology world through Loanpad - a simple user-experience backed by powerful algorithms and tight data control that everyone can be a part of.

Raluca comes from a background in law and finance. She has worked at a London law firm specialising in real estate finance and at a Lending company issuing real estate loans. She brings a wealth of experience to Loanpad.

At Loanpad, Raluca handles many of Loanpad’s day to day operations and is also responsible for our investor support processes.

Alex graduated from UCL with a Masters in Engineering, where he gained a large amount of his coding expertise whilst developing virtual reality (VR) software that allows engineers to visualise and interact with their designs in a 3D environment instead of on a 2D computer screen.

At Loanpad, Alex acts as lead developer by managing the release of new features to the platform and acting as a point of contact between the operations and development teams. Alex develops both the front and back end of Loanpad’s platform, with data security and a smooth user experience as his top development priorities.

Jo joined Loanpad in 2021. She has considerable financial and operational experience assisting financial managers in business accounting and working with non-profit organisations. She is also currently studying to become an accountant.

At Loanpad, Jo works on many of the day to day operations including financial management and investor support.

Danny joined Loanpad in 2021 to work in the underwriting team.

He has significant experience in the property sector including in lettings and property management.

At Loanpad, he acts as a Loan Manager responsible for assessing loans both at the due diligence phase and on an ongoing basis.

Neeraj received his second master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Cardiff University following his first master's degree in Information Technology. During his first master's degree, he developed Della, an application that allows managers to keep track of their teams, tasks assigned and progress. His dissertation at Cardiff University focused on an artificial intelligence chatbot for the Velindre NHS Trust.

At Loanpad, Neeraj acts as a software developer working on both the front and back end of Loanpad’s platform.

Maurice joined Loanpad in 2022 after spending most of his career as a Chartered Accountant in professional practice.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 and gained significant experience both in industry and in practice at a top 100 firm where he provided a wide variety of advice including responsibility for managing the self-employed client portfolio.

At Loanpad, he acts as a Loan Manager responsible for assessing loans both at the due diligence phase and on an ongoing basis. In addition, Maurice acts as the firm’s financial controller.

Tatum joined Loanpad in April 2022. She has experience in working within the public sector and third sector organisations from supporting CEO’s to supporting the preparation of quarterly financial reporting to Board of Directors.

At Loanpad, Tatum works on many of the day to day operations including financial management and investor support.
